We have been experiencing a high incidence of downtime with our Internet payment facility. The problem occurred on our banker's Internet gateway server. They have assured us that these problems hve been addressed.

The Civil Society Secretariat apologises for any inconvenience caused during this time.

What is the closing date?
The final date for registration has been extended to 12 August 2002. All registrations must be finalised by this time.

This could be due for one of the following reasons :-
a) Due to the Internet payment problems, we are experiencing a backlog of queries and updates. This backlog will be resolved shortly.

b) You paid by direct deposit, but forgot to inform the Secretariat. You must do this as soon as possible.

c) You did not provide your registration details on your direct deposit. Contact Maureen Forbes as soon as possible.

Where can I stay during the Summit.
Visit www.summitgoer.com. They will provide a database of available accomodation close to the venue and nearby the transport grid.

Also try the Bridge Mission Project who is compiling a database of accomodation for delegates.

What about transport?
Transport will be available to provide delegates with a shuttle service from the airport their hotels and vice versa. During the Summit, delegates will be transported fro transport hubs to the summit venue and back.

The shuttle service and daily transport is provided at NO COST to the delegate.

I need an invitation letter.
Once you have paid your fees, you can login to the web site using your registration code and password. Your letter will be available for download. Contact Maureen Forbes for queries relating to the invitation letter.
